Itel driver install problem

Hello there...
I tried to install Intel HD driver in windows 8.1, but every time an error appears including this message:
" Your system doesn't meet the minimum requirements" ...I think...
And prevent the driver from installing.

*Asus K53SV / Core i7 / 6G Ram / 2G Nvidia VGA / And Intel HD Graphics

Where did you get the drivers from? You may need to get them from the Asus website, as laptops tend to be customized more than desktop boards.

The driver is old ( windows 7_64 bit ). I take it from the stock driver DVD of the device.
Do think I need a new driver?

If it was for Win7, there's a small chance it won't work with Win8. Drivers on a DVD are always old.

My advice would be just to run Windows Update, and it should show up under 'optional'.
