Iternet in SafeMode

Hello,
I am working on desktop with a bluescreen issue.

I am trying to do a few things but It won't let me connect to the internet. I get local access only. I even tried ethernet but get same issue. I do a ipconfig and there is no DNS. what can is do? what could be wrong.

Select the safe mode with networking when u are going to the safe mode.

I did that

Go into Internet Explorer and the Tools menu>Internet Options>Connection tab>LAN button and take the ticks out of the two proxy boxes and make sure there is a tick in "Automatically detect settings". Click Apply and OK your way out.

The worst thing about a proxy hack is how it got there but it could be interesting finding out and also how it related to the blue screen.
