It's a gaming pc thread actually but I could find that, I want to know what psu Iam gonna need for this pc

this is my pc specs:
cpu: core i7 6th gen ( I haven't bought it yet but it'll be this )
gpu: msi gtx 1070 gaming x 8 gb
ram: hyperx fury 16 gb ( 2 x 8 )
I still don't know about the motherboard but I don't think that's gonna make a difference.

I don't know how much of a psu I should get.
any suggestions would be good.

Hi - A good quality 550w unit is more than sufficient for that rig, a good 500w unit will
also do, but I'd go with a 550.
If you post your budget and location, we could offer suggestions.

500W is the recommended minimum. But I would go a bit more than that for better headroom and future expansion. Here are some 600W - 660W choices that are decent.
