Hi guys,

I'm having some problems with Windows and a specific game. That game being Battlefield 4.

I crash constantly to either a red screen or a BSOD with the error BAD_POOL_HEADER.

I have no idea what this means. I only get these errors when playing Battlefield 4 (I have tried playing other games and haven't had this crash at all ever. Even Battlefield 3/Bad Company 2 haven't caused this crash), and it usually happens either when the server I am on changes maps but it also happens randomly when playing as well.

I am at my wits end and could really use some help. I done some searching (on these forums and Google). But there seems to be different solutions to different problems.

I would really appreciate if someone could help me out.

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Just read this back and forgot to list the solutions to this problem I have tried. As well as my specs.

I have tried removing my graphics card drivers completely (using Guru3D DriverSweeper) and reinstalling the latest AMD beta drivers (13.11 v9.5)

I reinstalled Windows 8 completely and also the game.

Tried installing the game on my HDD, and then my SSD to see if maybe one of them was faulty. No change.

Removed all overclocks (just in case).

Specs:

i5-3570k @ stock
HD 7870 Ghz Edition 2GB
8GB Corsair Vengeance
1TB Toshiba HDD (cheapo)
120GB SanDisk SSD

All my drivers are up to date. First thing I did when I reinstalled Windows. No idea if my power supply is weak or not. It shouldn't be I don't think. Fair enough I built this computer almost a year ago now.

My specs are:

i5-3570k @ stock
HD7870 Ghz Edition 2GB
8GB Corsair Vengeance
1TB HDD
120GB SanDisk SSD
XFX Pro Core Edition 650W PSU

I have already tried reinstalling my drivers. I used Guru3D Driver Sweeper, tried using Driver Fusion and it was awful. It didn't work. Unless I'm doing it wrong. Which I don't think I am to be honest.
