It's been a pretty bad week for me and my computer.

Okay, so I have Spring break right about now, and I've been wanting to play some PC games. Now, there's a whole slew of problems with my PC (my PSU is insufficient for my hardware, my monitor is outdated, etc) and I'm willling to look over all of them, but earlier Monday I noticed that my CPU runs at 79 degrees IDLE. I still haven't gotten any solution to that problem despite reapplying thermal compound.
But now I have another problem. My disk is running at 100% for the entire time my PC is on.
It's due to a process named "System and Compressed memory." I honestly have no idea why my PC is behaving this way. I'm short for cash so if anything is broken, I won't have a PC anymore.
Thanks in advance?

Solution
I read about this problem from a couple of different sites. One person resolved theirs by updating one of their Motherboard drivers... and another person fixed it by simply disabling their pagefile.
