Which one would you choose for running Protools and Video software?

Go with build 1. That is a massive SSD and you can easily throw in a HDD later.

Do you really have that much data that needs to be accessed quickly? If so go with build 1.
If you have under 500GB of data that needs rapid access (which is the more likely option) take the second build without a doubt. The M2 SSD is superior to SATA.

thanks bro i was leaning toward the 512GB M.2 SSD because of its speed...but build one was my first choice.... but then i heard about the M.2 Drives....so i wanna see what others on here might say.... thanks again bro...

I will be using Protools 12 and Adobe Premier, thats what i was thinking too Build #2....Thanks G! ... Like to see some more suggestions...on this forum...

I would suggest the second build then. Keep current projects on your M2 drive, with bulk, old, or scarcely needed files on the HDD. Overall faster operation.
