Is this the fan hub you're talking about? If so then yeah it's not a good buy. You'd be best served buying into a Swiftech 8 way PWM fan hub if you're interested in controlling all your fans at once but with smart, neat and clean cable management.

What sort of fans are you thinking of plugging into the hub?
