Parts are keyed to only fit one way.
Take a photo of where all your psu connections go before you start.
Perhaps the hardest thing to do is to remove the main 24 pin connector from the motherboard.
It is a tight fit. Do not pull on the cables,
There is a latch that must be unhooked while you lift out the connector.
I find that a thin screwdriver between the motherboard and connector can get it started easier.
When you buy a new psu, consider it as a long term investment.
650w or 750w to allow for a future graphics upgrade.
A psu will only use the power demanded of it, regardless of the max capacity.
Quality counts, look for a unit with a 7 or 10 year warranty.
