this its the build


Video Card:
NX7300 GS

Procesor:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200 Dual-Core 2.2 GHz

Storage:
2x Seagate barracuda 7200.9 250gb
1x Maxtor 5200 40gb

Memory:
4x dims corsair xms2 ddr2 (1GB each)

CPU Cooler:
Stock

Power:
Thermaltake W0093RU TR2 500 Watt

Other:
2x Dvd/re
1x Video Capture Card
1x Firewire Port

the problem surges when i try to install windows at some point the computer auto shuts down (No blue screen), im thinking about the power not being enought but i want to be sure. if its indeed the power b4 to consider in buying another power supply, how can i get a conclusion, i dont have a friend supply to test =( either.

That is most likely not a power supply issue, sounds to me more like bad motherboard or ram. The most common symptom of a bad psu is an inability to boot or post.
 
Could be a heat issue as well. If the HSF isn't firmly attached, it could be hitting the thermal limit and shut down. (won't blue screen.) Might want to double check everything to make sure its in tight, and remove three of the ram sticks.
