Hi sushil,

-Are you using a newly installed operating system?
-What kind of USB drive is it? (2.0 or 3.0)
-Are you plugging in the drive to your case USB ports or your motherboard USB ports?

You might need to install specific motherboard drivers to get USB drives to function properly.
