iTunes Activation lock

some friends of mine found a iphone the other day we turned it on but there was no contact information and we wonder how to remove the activation lock? its an iphone 5 running ios 7/8

Turn it in to the police. Tom's Hardware prohibits any discussion on bypassing security protocols for any reason.
