I built an HTPC right when the GPU shortage started so wasn't able to put one in until now. Was going to get the EVGA GTX 1650 Super and that'd still be a fine card for my 1080p usage; but wouldn't mind a RTX card though seems they all take more than a 2 slot space. Durability, no coil whine etc are most important, staying under $300, and actually more like $200 unless it's a really great deal.

It's specifications SPECIFICALLY state that it is a dual slot card. Looking at the head on images of it it does not appear to extend beyond the width of the two slot I/O bracket any more than any other dual slot card I've ever seen. Cards that say dual slot and are actually much wider than the I/O bracket are the ones to be concerned with, but this doesn't look like that. I don't see there being any dual slot cards that are narrower than this and SFAIK there aren't any RTX cards that are less than dual slot. So if this doesn't work, you will likely need to get an ITX specific card and that isn't going to happen within your budget allowance. Even then, it might likely be the same width and just be a shorter card relevant to it's "height".

I see that too, and I've installed an MSI 1050ti to test out and it fit fine, dual slot same dimensions as 2060 specs, all say 1.54"/39mm dual slot but reading these Amazon questions:

Q: My gabinet has only 2 slots expansion, nzxt h200i. as i could see this board is 2.75 slot. will it fit in the gabinet?
A: If you only have 2-slots available for your case then the RTX 2060 SC GAMING will not be able to fit.

Q: how do i know if it’ll fit my pci slot like the part where the hdmi goes it looks pretty big compared to the one i have now
A: It will take up three slots of your pci ,I had to break off two pci slots cover, the thin metal plates

Q: Can you convert it into a two slot?
A: No

So yeah, I'm confused. Here's the MSI 1050ti dual slot:

It does appear to be the same as your pic of the 2060, so wonder what's going on?

It's not "2.75" slot. So that user is an idiot or something.

Looks exactly the same as the I/O on the card I linked to. I don't see any difference.

If you want guarantees, then I'd recommend you accept the fact that you're going to need to increase your budget for an ITX card from the RTX family, but even then I believe you will still be dealing with a 2 slot form factor and seemingly not every manufacturer has the same idea of what constitutes a "dual slot" but when you only see two stubs on the I/O bracket and nothing significantly extends outside of that dimension, I find it hard to believe that any board with two slot spacing available would have a problem. I make no guarantees, but based on the details, it's what I'd do if my criteria was the same. Listening to a bunch of fools on sites like Amazon, Reddit, Newegg and others is like rolling dice and hoping for the best. Especially if you are going off what the ten cent per hour responders for most those companies have to say. They are generally clueless too.

Yeah I agree, don't know why it wouldn't fit in their cases, maybe were smaller configuration or something. My case is rather large for ITX, fits full size cards. I got a response from someone who had purchased same case as mine and they were able to fit an EVGA 2080ti XC card in it as well as an EVGA 2060 Ultra which they said fit in case "with ease."
