It's time to upgrade my PC once again, and since my current build is housed in a Tt Level 10 case, I thought it would be cool to build this one in small form factor.

So far I have picked up a BitFenix Phenom ITX Case, a SeaSonic X650 PSU, and a Corsair H100i cooler.

As far as CPU, MB and RAM, I'm holding out for the new Asus Impact ITX MB (coming Q3) paired with a Haswell 4790K CPU running either GSKILL Trident X 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3 2400 or CORSAIR Vengeance Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) 1866, and also the GSKILL Sniper (2x8GB) 2400. Don't really know a whole lot about memory, so not sure on which to choose.

I'll be going with a GTX 770 for GFX, a 250GB SAMSUNG 840 EVO for boot drive with a 3TB WD Black for storage. I'll probably be running Win7 64 Home Edition as well.

Any suggestion on ways to improve this build? I'm not sure of everything available on the market or new stuff that may be coming out with in that time frame that could be better match for me. I'm also hoping to get about 4 years out of this build before I need to update.

Really depends what you are trying to do with it. If it's a gaming build, then relative to your budget you are going to end up super-light on graphics, which is where you get all your performance from.

Don't get me wrong, a GTX770 is a great card, especially if you are limited to a single 1080P display, but it's unlikely to last anywhere near four years when it comes to maxxing out games, when the rest of your choices will still be fine (or even overkill). If you do want a gaming machine to last as long as possible, the one place it makes some sense to overkill is the graphics budget.

It's worth also pointing out that the Phenom, while a great little case, has little-no venting for a graphics card, so you will have to chose fairly...
