How do I add usb 2.0 module to the motherboard to accept cable from the ports on front of the case?
Manual states: "Do not connect a 1394 cable to the USB connectors. Doing so will damage the motherboard!"
"The USB 2.0 module is purchased separately."

I've gooogled and can't find such an item. Any help is appreciated!

Thanks for the help Lutfi!
Box is being reused from old board (bought in 2012 !) ; it is a Corsair Carbide Series Black 400R Mid Tower Computer Case.
The pins are shown in diagram:
board
Actual manual with diagram here.

My case has a cable with 1394 on the end, with 9 holes that would fit into the 9 pin on the MB (but they say not to do that as mentioned).
I'm guessing there is a module of some sort to go between the case's cable end and the MB socket.
The 1394 connector is for the firewire port on the case. That is an obsolete interface and is not supported by most new boards. That cable should be taped off and tucked out of sight, IMO.
Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Can you include the make and model of the case? Does the case have USB2.0 or USB3.0 connectivity? The USB 2.0 header on the motherboard should have 9pin on a 10pin base, on your motherboard, it's denoted by USB_E12 and USBE_34. If your case has a USB2.0 connectivity option the connector should have USB labelled atop of it, like so:

Mind sharing an image of the connector? Host the image on something like Imgur(or their ilk) then parse the link to said image, here. We can then see if you really got that connector and if your need to RMA the case(due to a faulty wiring job).
