i've been using my speakers for a while (they're actually not mine, belongs to a friend), and everything was fine. This past weekend I was playing music like i do everyday loudly and this very loud buzzing noise started coming from the speakers. As soon as I plug it in the buzzing starts very loudly and annoyingly. It buzzes like this every single time it gets plugged in. Can anyone let me know what is going on? I tried to plug the speaker in multiple places in my house and it is still doing it. I believe there is a problem with the wire. It happened very randomly though, because I have been using it every single day the same way.

Hard to help since we don't know the make or model of the speakers and what you have connected them to.
If they are powered speakers with a separate wall wart power supply that supply could be bad. The amp in the speakers could be bad.
If it happens every time you try it now it's not random. If a wire is involved then try a different cable to connect to your source.
Does the buzz happen when you don't have anything playing? If it only happens when you play music you may have damaged the speakers by playing them too loud over a period of time.
