I've broken my computers power on button, the computer is a packard bell, how do I turn it on?

I've tried pressing the button to switch it on loads of times, I've unplugged and plugged it back on and off, nothing.

Could be one of many issues, from something as simple as the switch wire and plug have unplugged from the motherboard to hardware failure like the PSU or motherboard has died.

When you press the power button do any lights come on on the outside or on the motherboard or do any fans start to spin?
