Hello pals I'm pretty confused as to what exactly is the issue here as I have literally never seen something so ridiculous as this before.
Booted up my PC, run through BIOS, everything is okay, until my monitor says "no signal" and the screen is black.
Seconds later, the screen is back with a white background and what I can only describe as small multicolored dots with a mouse cursor and the occasional spinning wheel and the resolution is terrible too. Then it flashes. Multiple times. Like, seizure inducing.
Eventually, the monitor just goes black. I wait. Nothing happens. Hard shut down.
Turn system back on, goes through BIOS, everything is okay, and then it sort of hiccups loading Windows 10, the screen goes white (no dots this time) then black, and then a blue screen with a loading wheel and then ANOTHER black screen until, finally, Windows 10 loads with the little log in screen. This sequence I just described must have taken about... 20 seconds to complete. Sorry for run-on sentence.
I want to know what the issue is because I like my computer and enjoy using it. I want it to continue working.
Event viewer is showing 385 error 4101 with this message: Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered.
What's the issue? Why is my computer acting funky? Help me.
