I've read threads about post/beep problems and my problem persists

Hello
I have searched the forums and I found no threads with my exact problem.

I am building my first computer (outside the case) and when I had the memory and cpu in, I booted it and I heard no beep from the on-board speaker and saw no POST on the monitor. Unlike all of the other threads I have read, I get video on the monitor and a bios menu that recognizes my memory and cpu. I am afraid to continue building. I tested the speaker by taking out the memory and hearing three long beeps during boot up.

All of the posts I have read regarding not having a beep or POST also included the problem of not having video, which is not my situation. In addition, I have read on a post that no beep means that there is a cpu problem but the bios menu recognizes the cpu model and clock speed.

Should I continue building or take different action? (I'm assuming the latter but I don't know what to do)

Thank you for any help in advance.

It's weird that you aren't getting a POST beep but you are posting so I'd finish your build and wouldn't worry about it. I'd rather have your problem then a computer that doesn't beep and doesn't post 😛

Thank you.
So I am good as long as the bios recognizes the parts?
