I've Toshiba PVLCD 15J old monitor.. its display port is different than vga. if any converter available to it? please help me

i've a Toshiba PVLCD15J Moniter and i want to connect it to a vga port. is any converter cable available? Bcz its working...not wanted to waste money for new LCD monitor. if its converter is not available is it make it possible to connect to a vga port by manual wireing? if it is possible please help me with a diagram...

Toshiba pvlcd15j uses DFP (Digital Flat Panel) output. You will need to look for an adapter that has a DFP Female port at one end and a VGA male port at another.

Since DFP is an old standard and is almost replaced by DVI standard, you will be lucky if you could find an adapter in the market (but they do exist).

No idea about wiring it manually. Not even sure whether this is possible, because VGA uses analog signals while DFP uses digital signals. You'll need to have some sort of electronics involved (in the form of a dedicated adapter).

You can probably find a used, much better, LCD 17" monitor for almost the same price a cable or converted box would cost, maybe less. And for sure a lot easier to find. I see used 15" LCD monitors for about $20 and some 17" for about the same.
