Ivy 3570k or 3770k for...

I cannot decide whether to get the i5 or the i7.
I do convert alot of .avi's to mp4 for my iphone/ipod using Leawo converter.
I also would like to play games on ultra settings @1080p (GTX670 will be used)

Which of these two very good CPUs would be the most ideal for my situation.
Would the hyperthreading on the i7 really boost gameplay and/or my convertion times?
Will the i5 struggle a little when using it to convert?

I think you will get the most value out of the Intel® Core™ i5-3570k. The hyper-threading really wont bring much to the gaming environment and may bring about 10% performance advantage to the convertion time if the application can use the extra threads.

Both of these processors will do a good job but in the end the Intel® Core™ i5-3570K offers that much more value for you.
