Some guys say that Ivy Bridge i3 is not compatible with many DDR3s.

I hear it for the first time.

The story is that i want to add more RAM into my old "HP 250 G2" laptop - https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04044564#AbT2
And some guys told me that it will be hard to find RAM that is compatible with Ivy Bridge.

Is it true? I can't just buy any SODIMM DDR3L 1600 ram?

Thank you.

Here is some additional info about my system:

Thank you very much for your reply.
But you do understand that this RAM on photo is the one that is native? It was in notebook when i bought it.
I want to buy another one. Some 8gb SODIMM DDR3L 1600
It will be 4 gb (old) + 8 gb (new) = 12 gb overall
I won't suggest that, don't take chances with mismatching ram get a 16gb kit of 2x8, else you could even search for it in the used market but get a kit that's what I'll recommend.
