Jack connected speakers don´t work, only usb headphones do

So i wanted to connect my speakers to my pc and watch a movie but then i found out they dont work but only on the pc. I tried using them to play music from my sisters laptop and my phone and they worked but not when in my pc. I also have these usb headphones that work with no problem.Also windows says they´re connected and shows sound when i play music or a movie but nothing comes out of them so if anyone can help me that would be great. Thanks.

Right click on volume in the taskbar and choose the correct playback device.
