Hello everyone,so today i was just playing some games and listening to some music when i heard a weird rattle in my headphones so i unplugged them and plugged them back and all of the sudden the right earphone stopped working so i tried to plug it in with 3,5mm jack instead of USB to see if there is problem in the cabel with the USB plug that i was using for about 1 year.Cause i can basically choose if i want USB or 3,5mm jack cuz the headset comes with another plug ,but whenever i tried to plug in my jack into the case nothing happened and even i have jacks in the front and even in the back ,i tried both of them and nothing happend,i even tried other headset but still didnt work so i looked up on the internet and i went to the BIOS and changed it from HD Audio into the Ac93 ,but still i didnt get any of my headsets to work trough the jack.So now im just sitting here with my USB plugged in and hearing sound just from 1 of the earphones.Any Ideas anyone?

Solution
Too get sound from the 3.5mm while having the USB plugged in you need to right click on the speaker in the bottom right hand corner and click Playback Devices. Then find the output that is for the 3.5mm and set it as default. If that doesnt fix it then the headset is the problem.
Do you have the USB still plugged in when you try the 3.5mm? They may be like my Turtle Beaches and have to have a power source from the USB to run the 3.5mm. To me it sounds like the head phones are broken, not the computer.

Umm,this is weird now when i plug in the USB and i press Test in the Settings and works normally but whenever i play music or listen to someone on skype i just hear it from left ear

The 3.5mm should be labeled "Speakers" and under it in grey text there should be the name of the audio chip set that is on your motherboard? Does it say that it is the default device? I just want to make sure that it is set correctly. Also what is the model of the headset?
