Jackstick Orientation for sound quality

So in the past few months, my headset have been weird, sometimes only the right ear cup played sound, but when i chnaged the orientation of the jackstick, it sounded normmally, but this isnt a permanent fix, what could i do to fix this?

It could be the 3.5 port on your laptop that is loose.
