jacob the glitch

ALMOST thought that this was a good card...

I know that you can get your hand discarded by your predator with a
master phase action.

I thought that a way around it would be sudden reversal or better yet
bleeding the vine. But those cards say they cancel master cards (not
actions).

Is there any way to get around Jacob the glitch's "ability" of losing
your hand?

Um, legion makes you discard your hand too. You will have no deck
almost immediately.

Use Gehenna cards etc. to decrease your hand size. Your pretador might
not be interested in using a master phase action to discard something
like two cards. And get rid of Jacob with Khobar Towers (what a
wonderful pool engine...).

Use Le Dinh Tho to discard all your predator's master cards.

Might work.

Play a Legion deck.

Correct. You will then be immune to Jacob's disadvantage.

transfered one to jacob)

It requires a bit of set-up, but theoretically it is possible.
what do you need:
- Madness Network
- Cornelius Ottavio who has become Anarch (or another malk who has a quietus
skill card on him)
- Jacob in your uncontrolled with one blood counter on him.
- Kobhar Towers in play.

as a Madness Network action after your predator has acted Cornelius can pay
Undue Influence and bring out Jacob. burn Jacob with the Khobar Towers
during you next untap phase.
