Jagged edges in any game on pc and xbox

I use an hdmi cable for an input, on the same monitor, same cable. I tried a new cable, looked it up, talked to microsoft, and nothing worked. My problem is jagged edges almost as anti aliasing is disabled globally. The monitor is an orion, but i dont know the model number. Please help!

Are you running the monitor at its native resolution?
If you are running less than native resolution the monitor will display one pixel on 2, 3, 4 or more pixels creating a boxy jagged edge picture.

How could i check? Cause like i said i use it for xbox 360 and pc and they are both jagged edges and same resolution

Look at the model number on the back.
Then check their website for the specs of your particular model.

You can also right click on the desktop.
Screen resolution for Win7 or properties for older versions. And set it to the highest resolution available.

Games have their own screen settings, but is usually limited to windows settings or settings the game engine thinks your hardware can handle with good gameplay.
