Java 64 bit?

Hey guys, so I just found out that I am running Java 32-bit on my computer (http://pcpartpicker.com/p/rgtk7P). Now, can I upgrade to 64-bit? I'm just confused if my computer has to have certain specs to do that.

The fact you're running 16GB of RAM, you're most certainly on a 64-bit OS. So, yes, you can install 64-bit JAVA.

Ok thanks, I was just a bit confused on why java installed in 32 bit instead of 64 bit. Ill try to upgrade.
