Yes, I know there's a thread with the same name, but I think my problem is different.

In Denmark we use a system called NemID (EasyID) that we use to log on to important websites like for example (in my case) my bank account, and the like.
This login system, however, uses java, and for some reason java fails in every single browser I use. Here are the specific versions:

Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit
Mozilla Firefox 21.0
Google Chrome 27.0.1453.94 m
Opera 12.15
Internet Explorer 8.0.7600.16385
Java Version 7 Update 21 (build 1.7.0_21-b11)

What happens more specifically is this. I open the site with the log-in box (https://netbank.danskebank.dk/html/index.html?site=DBNB&secsystem=DI). In the case of firefox (my main browser) it freezes completely, but in every browser, the log-in box is just blank. The same problem happens when I try to use the "do I have java?" function on the java website.

I have tried every solution on this page, and it still doesn't work.

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: I might add that, not long ago it worked without issues. However, I don't know exactly what update/change made the problems start.

Java has had some serious vulnerabilities recently, so many browsers have blocked it from running unless you allow it. For example, that link you posted above, when I opened it in Firefox, I got a pop up asking if I wanted to run java.

Your java add on is probably disabled in your browser. You can manually enable it. In addition, if you're not getting that pop up asking if you want to run java, your pop ups are probably being blocked. You may need to disable your pop up blocker, and/or adjust your browser security settings.

Hmm, no, I don't get such a window. The log-in box is just white and blank, and firefox slows to a near halt, and can only be completely closed through the task manager.

Yes its a home PC, and I do have admin rights.

After reset your web browser and if it doesn't help, please use Revo uninstaller to completely remove your Java. Sometimes Java from official site download mirror has small chance on buggy. same goes for Flashplayer etc. So what after you deleted java completely . Download java newest version from this site: www.filehippo.com . Type Java in search balk at top of the screen in the center. Search for java for your 32bit version and download it. Install it with admin right. Means first save it on your desktop for example. After the installation. Try again.

I uninstalled Java using Revo, and installed the newest 32-bit version from filehippo. No change.
After that, I reset my firefox with the Help -> Troubleshooting Information -> Reset firefox to its default state. No change.

EDIT: Also just completely reinstalled firefox. No change.

Java Verify failure unable to Configure Java Control Panel does not open ( Fix : )
this is a regular ( windows 7 bug related ) problem after successful installation of Java ( jre ) and fresh installation of Windows7 64bit or 32bit on my laptop or desktop. what worked perfectly for me was setting COMPATIBILITYMODE=WINDOWSNT to make windows launch the JP2LAUNCHER.EXE and JAVAW.EXE files properly.
jp2launcher.exe windowsNT compatibilty solves Java Verify failure problem at https://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp
javaw.exe windowsNT compatibilty solves unable to open or Configure Java Control Panel problem.

* search for JAVAW.EXE inside c:\program files\java\....\bin
or c:\program files(x86)\java\.....\bin\
* right-click mouse on JAVAW application icon logo
* click PROPERTIES
* click COMPATIBILITY
* tick the checkbox at COMPATIBILITY MODE
* choose WINDOWS NT service pack
* click APPLY or click OK
Now, the Configure Java Control Panel will start opening and working.

* search for JP2LAUNCHER.EXE inside c:\program files\java\....\bin
or c:\program files(x86)\java\.....\bin\
* right-click mouse on JP2LAUNCHER
* click PROPERTIES
* click COMPATIBILITY
* tick the checkbox at COMPATIBILITY MODE
* choose WINDOWS NT service pack
* click APPLY or click OK
Now, the Verify Java will be successful at https://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp

if we find 2 or 3 versions of JP2LAUNCHER and JAVAW when we search, then we must repeat the above for all of them.

in the Configure Java Control Panel Advanced tab we can set "Do not check" certificate revocation and disable security verification. and in the Security tab we may Edit Site List... for the Exception Site List ( add URLs to unblock sites )
