Hello community,
I've had an issue with my friends computer. He has been trying to install Java on his computer for months now, because this issue has been a problem for a while. The installation works fine and finishes with no error code, but the problem is it isn't the right version. He has an Alienware x17 laptop with Windows 10 (That is clearly 64 bit). It is relatively new so I wouldn't imagine this would happen to him. The problem is that he installs a 64 bit Java, but when he goes into Programs and Features to check if it installed it shows him that the Java version is x86 or 32 bit. He can't play any games that require java because of this issue. ANY help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Revsn
