Question Java not downloading/installing

So I recently built a new computer. I was installing minecraft and optifine. Noticed I should probably install java onto the new system. After trying to do so I received a messed with " An error has occurred in the script on this page. Line: 1 Char: 1 Error: Expected ')' Code:0 URL: (nothing here) Do you want to continue running scripts on this page"

I did some research for some causes of the problem:

-I do not have any special characters in my computers account name.
-There is no java currently installed.
-Tried offline version.
-Tried moving folder from another computer with java on it to new system.
-Tried non 32 bit version.
-Tried running through admin on CMD
-Disabled 3rd party extensions
-Disabled Firewall

I have got to the where the download should begin and it closes instantly or after a second. I'm just not too sure what else I should do and any help would be appreciated!

EDIT: So my account is an admin account but I switched to a different admin account and it let me download it. When I switch back to my main account it acts as if it is not there.

I think Minecraft comes with its own Java but where were you downloading Java from

get Openjdk 15
