Javazon, coming up!

I recently started a Javazon, so now I have some questions.

I'm going to max LF first, then Plague and Poison Javelin, then put 10
points into either Valk or Decoy, I haven't decided which.
On the Poison skills, it looks like I can get almost 1400 dam/second if I
can get enough +skills to boost it up. I know it probably won't kill much
once I enter Hell, I'll be using it mostly to soften the LI's up for the
Merc and Valk.

Last to max will be Lightning Strike, has anyone used this recently? The
damage isn't too high, but the 31 hits seems like it would look pretty cool,
at least
The only thing I don't like about this is that it doesn't work thrown, you
have to run up and poke them. Darn.

For gear I'm thinking....

Titans - maybe up them later on
For a shield, should I put enough Str for a Spirit Monarch? I'm probably
going to end up with 125 or so Str and Dex anyway, does anyone think it
would be worth it??

My current mf zon is a LF/LS maxed, maxed valk remaining points spread out
in plague jav and passives. I had read that LS was your boss killer, but it
works as well for those situations like right after a mana burn where mana
is low, it is available long before LF comes up.

I keep LS on left button, LF on right.

Actually that should have been CS not LS, for the previous message. Serves
me right for going 36 hours on 2 hours sleep.

If you add some more +skills, Plague Javelin can do more than that, even
in Hell. Well not in full games maybe.

Other than in the cow level, you won't have enough targets to keep the
chain lightning going. A more common option is max Charged Strike to
cover the weakness of Javazons against bosses a bit.

That's already +9 to Jav/Spear skills. Add a +2 ammy and +3 gloves and
you are at +14. More than 2k/s poison damage . BTW +3 gloves give
higher numbers than the +25% from TO gloves.

My favorit shield for Javazons is Stormshield though. With max block of
course. But I play HC ...
