Im confused if i can plug in my usb connector to the JCOM1 and it will work the same as a JUSB1 Connector?
Is it okay if i plug my kraken x61 into the JCOM1 port on my motherboard so it serves as a USB port?

Solution
JCOM1 is an old school serial interface header. you plug a two row DB9 serial plug in there so you can ave a serial port. pre ps2 mouse interface.

not even close to being a USB

Is there another port i could use on my mother board (msi b150 gaming m3) for a usb 2.0 port other than the one labeled?
Or do i have to buy a usb 2.0 splitter?

Wait what?I have the same issue.I have a Corsair PSU that needs a link cable, but my Corsair 760T also needs a usb 2.0 header for the front io.I use the same MSI B150 mobo, and i currently have my front panel usb 2.0 disconnected.I need both connected and need a simple solution. Also,i cant find any diagram of internal USB headers....
