Hey guys I've been trying to play Battlefield 3 on one the computers at my house (specs to follow) and I'm getting this seriously weird lag.
Specs:
AMD 2.9 Quad Core CPU
4GB DDR3 1333MHz RAM
ATI Radeon 6870 1GB GDDR5 GPU
Problem:
Every time I play Battlefield 3 (This problem is exclusive to BF3) I'm getting this weird lag where every 0.5 seconds my player seems to be jerking around. I initially thought it was a FPS problem but after installing MSI Afterburner I found I was playing at 60+ FPS (Averaging around 70). I honestly can't explain and I've tried everything I can think of:
1) sfc /scannow and restarting in command prompt
2) Beta and standard ATI Drivers (Latest)
3) Cleaning out the PC
4) Fresh format of windows
Here's a link to a short clip showing the lag: http://youtu.be/rgqVdCPnjsM
Any help please.
NB: When I'm playing my GPU temp is +- 100 'C (Which I know is high but I've done everything I can - more fans, opened case, cleaned GPU out thoroughly - I'm stumped).
