That game rocks in every way. The multiplayer has so many mods it is
mind blowing! Plus, it is only like $20 now. Definately worth buying.

JK 2 is worth every penny. Its one of my favorite games. I payed $50 for it
when it came out. $20 for JK 2 is an awesome price. You will love this game.

Are you talking Outcast or Jedi Academy?

I haven't had the opportunity to play Outcast, but, I play JA on a near
daily basis. I really like JA. The folks here say that Outcast is even
better, but I can't verify that.

I thought Outcast was much harder than Jedi Academy -- primarily because you
don't have force powers or the light sabre at the beginning of the game. On the
hardest setting of Jedi Outcast Stormtroopers were actually killing me
frequently. In this respect Jedi Outcast was more like Dark Forces II.

Jedi Outcast is harder and also has a much better story to it than Jedi
Academy. Jan and Kyle have a cool chemistry between them.

Academy has only 2 memorable parts that stay with me. The floating racercar
thingys in the valley that go way too fast and the lightsaber level where
you jump from cliff to cliff. Outcast has almost every level wanting you to
play it again and again!

just incase you haven't played KOTOR yet, you should definately play
through that game before playing JK2. Not that JK2 isn't good, it's
just that KOTOR is SOOOO much better. But you probably already did
play KOTOR or you wouldn'n be thinking about getting JK2. I beat KOTOR
and then got JK2 and I wasn't thrilled. KOTOR was so much more
involved and much more fun. :)

Jedi Outcast single player had more of an effect on me than Jedi Academy. It
maybe because it was my first look at a new Jedi Knight game since Dark
Forces 2. But JO nad JA are awesome. I haven't played KOTOR yet. I like FPS
games better.
