I just bought the full version of this one... I'm impressed by the variety
of international forces found inside, like GIGN, KSK, SAS, Royal Marines,
SASR, Delta, Force Recon, SEALs, Rangers, Spetznaz, but not so impressed by
the limited uniform selections on some of the non-U.S. forces and especially
not by the weapon selection, which isn't very typical of some of the forces
listed.

And while the training missions are lots of fun, I can't seem to connect to
NovaWorld. I suspect it is a firewall issue. No single player, except for
the training missions, that I can see.

And you see touches of pure silliness, like lots of Quakish aiming
reticules, complete with one that says "Shoot Here" (DUH!).

And the accents on the international voice file sets... It sounds like the
same guy attempting to mimic the various accents. Very cartoonish. I
worked on voice file sets for a Parisian, an Italian from Milano, and a
Polish female, all for a Rogue Spear mod I wanted to make. Nothing beats
recording people that actually come from the places in question. (And the
Polish girl was SOOOO hot!) Louis Loiselle suddenly sounded like a
Parisian, Antonio Maldini like an Italian, and Kazimiera Rakuzanka like a
Pole.

I knew something had to be lacking when I saw the game fit on one CD.

Fun but... *shrug* too many people play it like its Quake. I keep expecting
people to ask how to get the BFG or Nail Gun.
