I bought a broke Joust this weekend and the Power supply is out.
Arcadeshop has one for sell that is a 15amp.I have a 12amp PS,is this
enough or due to all the boards does it need to be a 15amp to come on
and work?Thanks

Why not just fix the original power supply? :)

Joust doesn't need anywhere near 15A on the +5.

you can get rebuild kits from bob roberts... he'll also sell a replacement
switcher WITH the harness to connect it...

or you can throw in the switcher you have. make sure you wire it up
correctly though... there are some non-standard voltages on the original
supply (the 24 volts for the sound for example).

check out www.robotron-2084.co.uk

it's a nice site with a lot of info...

specifically http://www.robotron-2084.co.uk/techwilliams2jamma.html#power
has info on how to hook up a switcher.
