I was wondering if anyone has an saitek x52 pro and can offer me a decent review of it. I researched a lot and I was debating getting a regular one or the pro model. On ebay these are pretty expensive despite being pretty old. Any thoughts?

have you tried looking at amazon reviews? the x52 is rated at 4.0 stars.

unless you really need the features on the pro model personally i'd go with the normal one since joysticks in general tend to degrade over time. the first thing to go is normally the self-centering action.

The pro model just looks more realistic and I hear has 2 different sensors and an extra spring or something like that. Besides the color and metal parts, the only difference is the programability.

from what i've heard there is only one or two models of joystick that are actually worthwhile in the long run but i dont remember the models. purchase what you want but keep in mind that they could break after a a few years of use.

I've been keeping tabs on ebay for an x52 pro model. Even the regular version is quite expensive and they have been out for a while now. I know what you mean by durability and the off center problems.
