Hi,

I have a X99A SLI Krait Edition motherboard with JPWR1, JPWR2 and JPW3 connectors. Basically I want to know what kind of devices I could connect to JPW2 and JPW3. I heard that the last one is optional, but still I don't know what need to connect to it. In the user guide there is only one page about ths topic, so I keep on with the active doubt. If somebody can explain better the use of the JPWR2 and JPWR3 connectors, I would appreciate it.

Those connectors are powering CPU. You plug into them 4-pin, 4+4 pin or 8-pin connectors from your PSU. And nothing else!
How many connectors you plug (options are...

8 pin (for CPU) and 24 pin(motherboard) are a must. Anything additional is only recommended if extremely overclocking. I see an extra 4pin, it's not needed.

How many connectors you plug (options are 4 pin, 8 pin or all 12 pin) depends on how much power your CPU needs. If you don't connect enough, the machine will either not boot at all or work unstable.
