Hey, I'm creating a work pc for my parents and was wondering if this is an alright build. The pc will mostly be used for work (Word/Excel, internet browsing) and the occasional photo/music editing (nothing too demanding though). Here's what I got (updated after suggestions):

You don't need a Z170 board. Get a GA-H110M-A and get a better PSU (550W G2 or RM550X)

Isn't that motherboard incompatible with my RAM? On the specifications page it mentions only being able to handle 2133MHz.
As for the PSU, I'll get the 400W edition instead of the 350W one (since according to this website I only need 400W, unless that is not accurate). I do value the noise levels which is why I think I'll stick with Be Quiet!.

The SSD will only really be used for Windows and the Office programs. I already have two 2TB HDD's that I'll include in the build (they're under Other in the partpicker list), so I think that will be enough.

The RAM will just run at 2133MHz. No biggie, you won't see the difference.

If it's an office PC there is no need to go all out on a Case and Motherboard.
Way better performance at a much less price.
Plus wouldn't you rather get the bigger SSD for less money?

Solution

Everyone says that. It never ends up like that.

OS, Office, browsers, AV, Windows updates, other utilities, etc, etc.

I'm not just saying get a 250GB drive because 'it's cool'.
I'm recommending that because I've been down that road.

Can a 120GB work? Sure.
My HTPC/house server has one.
A 120GB was the main drive in my main PC for a couple of years.

It is smaller than you think, for a main use PC. And the price vs size leans heavily towards the 250GB range.

``Once again there is no reason to spend so much money on a case that's going to sit under a desk. It's an office pc, not a watercooled gaming rig``

yes will be under the desk without a good ventilation and above all a really bad power supply??? yeah! that make sens

The OP has made his decision .. He is not adding a graphics card for a gaming pc. Therefor the Power Supply is enough. The system will only use half the wattage. People only have soo much Buying Power till their budget stops them.
