i have been looking for hard disk since last week but got confused
i was wondering which sort of hard disk would be good for me.
which would be good sata sv or wd blue ?
what does that mean ? will rpm affects the performance ?
looking for 1 tb . little help would be appreciated :)

Hi there aman0045,

What would you need it for? Is it going to be your primary (OS) or secondary drive? Do you have a laptop or desktop computer?

What do you mean by SATA SV? Most of the temporary HDDs have SATA 3 interface.
Yeah, RPM would affect your PC's performance. You will get shorted boot and loading times with a 7200 RPM drive, compared to a 5400 RPM one.

As I am a WD representative, I can comment only on our products. WD Blue is a good everyday computing drive and it would do the job. Keep in mind that some 1 TB models have 7200 RPM while others have 5400 RPM.
