Question Jumpstarting Motherboard without Case to install drivers

I have a question for you guys,

My case got lost in the Fedex line... shocker, but its on its way.

My mobo is all put together and ready for the case, and I am dying to get into the bios and OS and to start getting updates going.

What is the best way to setup the botherboard without the case so I can do this? Is just resting it on the carboard box it came in safe enough? And making sure it is over a hardwood floor so no static is picked up. I just really want to boot it up, get windows installed, and any drivers I may need/make it game ready. Hopefully when my case comes in then I can just drop it in and get to gaming.

Unless you really need this computer up and running, wait.

But if you really need this computer up and running, then all you have to do to power it on is momentarily short the PWR_BTN pins on the front panel header.
