I was thinking whether a CM Hyper 212 fit in the TUF z270 mark 1 board? If not is there any other options other than liquid cooling. I really don't want to risk my PC cause of leaks. Someone please help me out.

Solution
That is compatible with the board. The problem you will face(if there is a compatible issue) is with the case. Check if the height of the Cooler fits your case clearance. There are many other options. I would recommend you to go with Cryorig H7 instead of CM Hyper 212 if you want budget CPU cooler. There are even better options like Cryorig R5 Universal which is lot better in cooling and provides stable higher clock speeds but costs bit extra.

Besides Air cooler you shouldn't worry about liquid cooling options as recently the improved quality in make is nullifying causes of leakage. If you still worry then should go with Corsair Liquid coolers. Because in worst cases if something happens and it leaks and damages other components...

Because in worst cases if something happens and it leaks and damages other components Corsair has a great customer support system and will not only replace the cooler but will also replace all other components which were damaged due to leakage and you will not have to spend anything for that.

I am not advising you to go for liquid cooling. Just informing you that there is no risk going that way.

Solution

Thanks for the response brother. Cryorig is not available in my country and the case im going for is a S340 Elite.. I have to get my PC shipped from another place and if the shipping, like a bump on its way or something the tubing might fall out of the place. this is my first time with the liquid cooling and thats the reason im worried.

For shipping liquid cooler is advised even more. Reason is that if you go for air cooler there is a huge risk of damaging the motherboard while shipping due to its weight. Most of the builders go for AIO liquid coolers because of that reason. With air coolers there is minimal chances of motherboard getting damaged as there is only a small pump mounted on it which is lighter in weight compared to any air cooler and the main radiator unit is tightly screwed to. Unless you are getting a custom cooled loop there is no practical way that the tubing is gonna fall apart.

If you wanna go for Air cooler ask them to ship it unmounted on the motherboard. Then you will have to mount it yourself. So probably you will be needing thermal paste unless they send one with it. If cryorig is not available check out bequiet or Noctuna lineup they have some good options. If none of them is available only then consider going with CM Hyper 212 EVO.
