1. What does a huge memory buffer in a vga good for? Is it only for a higher resolution?
2. Is it better to have a smaller number or a bigger number in a LCD response time?

im curious....

1. What does a huge memory buffer in a vga good for? Is it only for a higher resolution?
It is useful when applications using the GPU need lots of memory. Normally, higher resolutions need more memory as you have said. Advanced graphics, such as the latest games, need large amounts of video memory.

2. Is it better to have a smaller number or a bigger number in a LCD response time?
Smaller number of normally better if it is being measured in "ms" milliseconds.
