Just added new 1 TB HDD into the system but can't see it in windows

Hey guys i just added a new HDD into my system so i have more storage but the problem is when i boot into windows the HDD don't actually show up. It just has the old C:/ and D:/ and that's pretty much it. I have made sure everything is plugged in, the sata and the cable from the psu. Please help me figure it out

Go into Windows Disk Management, initialize the drive, assign it a drive letter, and Quick format it. It will then be ready to use.
