Just Bought a 3D Monitor?!? How do I use it?

Just bought an Acer S236HLtmjj from NewEgg because it was a shell shocker deal. But I looked at it and it says 3D ready. How does that work? Does it work with games, or only with movies? Please explain? Thanks for any help!!!

You need a 3d capable video card, a emitter, and glasses. If you have an Nvidia GPU then the guide below will help you out.

It will work with both games and movies. But to play games in 3D you need a lot more GPU horsepower.

From what i am reading on reviews people are saying this monitor is not 3D ready at all... If you wanted to go to 3D you would be better getting the Asus vg248qe. If not you should just stick with your current monitor and skip the return hassle.
