Question Just bought a CRT monitor but I get a black screen with a blinking light when I turn it on

This is the monitor I bought:

When I turn it on while not connected to my PC, it gives a message saying "monitor is working, check signal cable". When I connect it to my PC it just turns off and the green light below the power button blinks. What is the problem?

I pressed a button on the monitor and it showed a message saying it is in power save mode. Anyone know what my issue is?

Power save mode means that the monitor did not find a signal from the system and is in sleep mode waiting for a signal.

Or at least not one that it can handle, if you have a 1080 resolution and send it to the monitor it won't be able to use it.
Set your resolution to 800x600 with your normal monitor and then connect the CRT.

Tried the resolution, it still doesn't work. I'm wondering if my PC is somehow incompatible with the monitor. I'm trying to get a cheapish laptop to see if that works.

I had the same problem on the laptop I bought. Maybe the monitor's faulty.

What are you trying to connected to it has a VGA connection
