What is she going to do with the system? For editing video the system would be decent.

If for gaming the 8700K & 1050 ti is a very odd pairing as typically you'd spend double the amount of the CPU on the GPU for a balanced system.

I would of gone Ryzen 2600/B450 board & GTX 1660 ti.

Your other parts such as storage & PSU are good.

I agree. You vastly overspent on the 8700k/mobo/cooler if primary use is gaming. You'd probably get the same FPS @ 1080p with a sub $80 cpu /$50 mobo / stock cooler. That case is kinda lame too IMO. This would be a beast with a nice GPU though. Used 1080 ti comes to mind. Other than the case and GPU everything looks solid though. I probably would have opted for an Aorus Elite mobo for the superior VRM if it were me.
