Just bought the PNY GForce 9800GT 512 GDDR 3 Will these games work?

Just bought the PNY GForce 9800GT 512 GDDR 3 card for my Dell XPS 420 Q6600 Core 2 Quad with 4 GB 667 DDR2 memory.

Will these games work with it, Crysis and Mass Effect and Far Cry?

If you use a resolution 1280x1024 or below that card is a good one. In Crysis you won't be able to max out settings/use much AA but it should still be playable with decent settings. Every other game out now and likely for a while into the future will play fine.

Because the card isn't powerful enough for high resolutions. Above 1280x1024 it will start to struggle if you max out settings.

He can run at 1920x1080 with a mix of settings.

I do it on a ATI 4830, E8400 3.4GHZ and 2GB ram.

No worries, you can run all the games just with some setting tweaks depending on your resolution. Especially Mass Effect 1 and 2 will run very well. Farcry will also run very well. Crysis will not run overly well, but i think you can live with that.
