Hello,

I just build my new PC:
I7-6700k
Asus Z170 Progaming
1070 EVGA FTW
EVGA 750 G2 powersupply
500GB SSD Samsung EVO
1000GB HDD WD BLUE

but it keep booting to bios, I tried to find solution but I cant figure it out...

only one thing seems wierd to me when I am in bios, and i want to select bootable devices it only shows SSD for boot, but in all diveces it can recognize HDD but not in boot menu..

Thank you

Solution
Of course it does this if there is no OS installed on either drive.

Most Bios now group the bootable devices, so you select to boot the CD group first, or the HDD group first, or FDD, Network, etc.
You have to go into the Hard Disk Drive group to select which drive you want at the top of the HDD group (in your case the SSD drive), AND THEN you can select in bios to boot to HDD group first.

For initially installing the OS, on most bios versions you can just use the one-time-boot menu to select your Windows DVD or flash drive.

I just want to be sure, I unplugged them and try to boot without HDD and SSD still just to bios... So I think its not about HDD and SSD,

and then I plug them in again and still just to bios

Really??? 😀 I am really that dumb? I thought I have to get screen when it asked for boot drive..

Everyone is a virgin at some point. So all you got is a BIOS right now no other software. You will want to make your CD / flash drive you have Windows on your first to boot drive in the BIOS. Then restart and the Windows install should kick off.

I thought it had to pass bios screen, than one more screen dont know how to call it, and than pop up tihs https://wpcf.neosmart.net/sites/5/2015/02/reboot-and-select-proper-boot-device.jpg

so do you think I have to try install win now? is that this issue?
