[SOLVED] Just built a computer and it won’t boot to BIOS

I just built myself my first computer with the following hardware:

Ryzen 7 3700x
Auros x470 Ultra gaming
16gb G.skill trident z rgb
Armour RTX 2070
SuperNOVA g2 650 watts

I put everything together and turned it on but it won’t boot. Not even to the BIOS. All of the fans and RGB lights turn on but not the monitor (also new). The Dram LED on the motherboard is on, then it switches to the CPU LED and then back. I can only turn the system off by cutting the power from the power supply.

So far I’ve tried rebuilding the system outside of the case, using integrated graphics, switching the ram slots, taking out the ram, checking the cpu pins if they’re bent (they’re not), and resetting CMOS settings.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Did that X470 motherboard have a notice on the box that it had a compatible BIOS for the 3xxx CPUs? That would be the first thing to check.

That might be it thanks. I looked it up and it said it might require a BIOS Update to run Ryzen 3rd gen. Is there a way to update the BIOS without being able to enter it?
